Snowflake Studios would like to present its newest video, Summer Games Fund-a-Need for Special Olympics Illinois. The video debuted Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at Special Olympics Illinois’ annual Area 6 Holiday Dinner & Auction to an audience of over 200 people, and helped the Fund-a-Need raise over $10,000 for area athletes to attend Summer Games. If you would like to donate too, please visit www.soill.org.
The video focuses on local athlete Taylor Reidel and her mother, Kris, and shows us some of the great experiences an athlete can have at Summer Games. Taylor not only won two gold medals this year at Summer Games, but has been selected to represent Area 6 at the 2014 USA Games in New Jersey this year! We are rooting for her and hope that she brings home even more gold!
I would like to give thanks to the Reidel family for letting me experience Summer Games with them, and for also meeting with me for some supplementary interviews. Taylor especially was a pleasure to work with, and was very kind about me constantly tagging around behind her with a video camera. I would also like to thank Jill Speer and the rest of the Holiday Dinner & Auction committee for their invaluable creative input for this video. Snowflake Studios hopes to do more work for Special Olympics Illinois soon!
